Our one year longprogram is specific to the unit you are hired into.

This is a full-time, paidand benefited career choice that is designed to enhance your nursing skillsetsand knowledge while simultaneously promoting your professional growth anddevelopment.14 WeekOrientation:* 7weeks in classroomsetting to include a combination of self-study, hands-on skills/simulations,and TeamSTEPPS, EKG (Electrocardiogram), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute),ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course),PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and BLS/ACLS certifications**Note: You must be licensed by week 2 to beeligible for these certifications* 7weeks of preceptorshipwith a designated and trained preceptorAfter orientation, throughoutthe remainder of your first year, you will participate in our ProfessionalDevelopment Residency for your ongoing support: * We pair youwith a designated mentor for extra support* You willcollaborate with your mentor to complete an evidence based Capstone Project (opportunityto gain recognition by facility and/or corporate level)* Monthlyresident seminars provide ongoing education to include Intro to Charge NurseEducation * Monthlymeetings with your nursing director to track your progress, successes,challenges, future goals, etc.
